Bailey,
Here is another older user of Facebook chiming in. Your grandpa's cousin, Peggi. I have enjoyed meeting up with high school classmates on Facebook that I hadn't seen since my 20th reunion. We even set up a vacation to Santa Fe after finding each other. So social networking can be useful for the older set too. Keeping in touch with relatives is another benefit. Lisa just friended me on here the night of Iantha's party.
I wish you all the best in your new blog venture here.
I wish time had permitted us to visit more at the reunion. I did get in a nice visit with your dad. That was good.
Take care,
Peggi Ishman

you would be surprised how many of us "oldsters" have already made the switch to cyber. remember Bill Gates' generation that makes all this whiz-bang possible is nearing retirement age, and no strangers to computers. i think online will eventually replace most media. online is instant, has global reach and local results. the very first time i used Craig's list and MeetUp i got instant connections with the people who are interested in exactly what i was, in precisely the place i was, at the time i set. this could be the end of mounds of paper advertising trash added to the landfill every day. I am going to check out each of the other sites you mentioned, that i have not used, and look for ways i can get more done, or at least have more fun.
